Metanya Returns & Refunds Policy

Every Metanya piece is crafted with care and intention.
If your order arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll make it right — always with honesty and respect.
Damaged or Faulty Items
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If your product is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, email contact@metanya.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order.
Include:

Your order number, and
-
Clear photos showing the issue and packaging.
Once your claim is reviewed and approved, we’ll arrange a replacement or full refund, and cover all return shipping costs — in line with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
If your item needs to be returned, we’ll provide a prepaid return label or other instructions.
Non-Returnable Items
Because each Metanya bench is handcrafted and made to order, we cannot accept returns or refunds for:

Change of mind

Custom or personalised products (including engraved items or bespoke finishes)

Sale items or gift cards
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
You are entitled to:

A replacement or refund for a major failure, and
-
A repair or replacement if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the issue is minor.
These rights exist in addition to our own store policy and apply automatically to all purchases made in Australia.
How to Start a Return

We’ll respond within 1–2 business days to confirm eligibility and next steps.

Once approved, we’ll guide you through the return or replacement process.
