Shipping Policy – Metanya

Order Processing & Fulfilment

Each Metanya prayer bench is carefully crafted, engraved (if selected), and packaged to ensure a premium experience.
Our benches are made to order and shipped from our trusted manufacturing partner overseas.

Typical timeline:

  • Production and international transit: up to 7 weeks from your order date

  • Local quality check, engraving (if selected), and dispatch from our Australian workshop: within about 1 additional week

Actual delivery times may vary depending on when your order is placed in relation to our next shipment cycle.
You’ll receive email updates at each stage:

  • Order confirmation

  • Arrival of your item in Australia

  • Dispatch and tracking link

Delivery timeframes are estimates only. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).


Personalised vs. Non-Personalised Items

Personalised items

If you’ve chosen a custom-engraved or personalised prayer bench:

  • Engraving adds 3–5 business days after your bench arrives in Australia.

  • Personalised items are made to order and cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged once engraving has begun, except where required under the ACL (e.g., fault or transit damage).

Non-personalised items

  • Processed and packaged within 2–3 business days after arrival in Australia.

  • Standard ACL rights apply — see our Refund Policy for details.


Domestic Shipping (Australia)

  • Carrier: Sendle (100% carbon-neutral courier service)

  • Estimated delivery after dispatch:

    • Metro areas: 2–5 business days

    • Regional/rural areas: 3–10 business days

Sendle delivers to street addresses only — no PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers.

Authority to Leave (ATL) & Signature

  • By default, parcels are shipped with Authority to Leave.

  • If you require a signature on delivery, please reply to your order confirmation email before dispatch. Signature options may slightly extend delivery times.

Missed Deliveries & Address Changes

  • If the courier can’t deliver and ATL isn’t possible, a re-delivery may be arranged.

  • Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in delays or re-delivery fees payable by the customer.


Shipping Fees

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on delivery address and parcel weight.
Occasionally, Metanya may offer free shipping promotions across Australia — these will be clearly shown on our website.


Order Tracking

When your order is dispatched from Australia, you’ll receive a Sendle tracking link via email to follow your delivery in real time.

If you haven’t received tracking details within 8 weeks of purchase, please contact contact@metanya.com.au so we can assist you promptly.


Delays & Updates

While we aim to meet our estimated timelines, unexpected delays may occur due to:

  • Supplier or customs congestion

  • Courier network disruptions

  • Peak seasonal periods (e.g., Christmas, Easter)

  • Weather or transport events outside our control

We’ll notify you of any known delays and keep you updated as your order progresses.


Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your parcel upon delivery and contact contact@metanya.com.au if:

  • Your product arrives damaged or incorrect — within 48 hours (include photos of packaging and product), or

  • Your parcel appears lost or undelivered — within 10 days after the last tracking update.

We’ll work with you to arrange repair, replacement, or refund in line with the ACL.


International Shipping

We currently ship within Australia only.
International shipping will be available in the future — stay tuned for updates.


Product Origin & Finishing

Metanya benches are finished and engraved in Australia, with components responsibly sourced overseas.
Each item passes a local quality check before being sent to you.
